At the risk of sounding obsequious, I truly wish there were more hours in the day to write. I enjoy writing and working hard. I take tremendous pride in everything I produce. When I’m not writing from someone else, I’m writing for one of my blogs or trying to compose the next great American novel.
My writing style borders on formal. I try to write for the page and not the way people speak. I exhaustively search for the best word not the best slang. Cliches are always eschewed. Being accurate is extremely important, I research everything from definitions to dates and names.
My commitment to following prose, above average vocabulary, colloquially-free and accurate means that I’m not very fast. I fully admit I’m a little “slow” but I write, rewrite, and proofread until the projected is done correctly.
The subjects I’m most familiar with are sports and entertainment with an emphasis in football, television, and Broadway. I enjoy playing the contrarian. I pride myself on the ability to form logical arguments and I can usually find controversy when there’s none.
When I force myself to take a break from writing, I enjoy watching football, playing video games and watching procedural cop dramas. I have a cat name Mary-Margaret and a significant other of 16 years. I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest all of my life and currently reside in Vancouver, Washington.
